Grilled Chicken Leg Quarters

Tender chicken with a perfectly crispy skin

4 chicken leg quarters 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp garlic powder  1/2 tsp thyme 1/4 tsp black pepper

Take the chicken out of the packaging and remove any large pieces of fat.

Mix the dry rub together in a small prep bowl.

Rub the dry rub all over the chicken leg quarters and allow to sit while heating the grill.

Place chicken leg quarters on grill skin side up. Cook about 10 minutes Flip and cook about 15 minutes. Flip again and cook another 10-15 minutes.

Chicken needs to be at least 165 degrees to be safe.  Leg quarters are better when cooked to at least 175 degrees.   Continue cooking until at least 175 degrees, flipping every 10 minutes.
