– 1⅓ pounds ground beef 85% recommended– 3 ounces mozzarella cheese cut into 4 thick slices, or can use shredded– 8 slices Texas toastPizza sauce - ingredients on next page
Divide the beef into 1/3 pound piles. Then divide each pile in 2's - make the bottom piece bigger then the top piece.Shape the bottom into a shallow bowl shaped patty.
Add 2-3 Tablespoons of pizza sauce into the little bowl shape. Top with a slice of cheese.Add the top piece of beef and use your hands to seal them as best as you can.
Preheat grill to 450 degrees.Place burgers over direct heat and close the grill.Cook for about 7-8 minutes.Flip carefully with wide spatula. Cook 5-8 minutes until beef is 160 degrees.
Place toast on the grill. Cook 1-2 minutes (if frozen it may take longer.)Flip and cook another 1-2 minutes until desired amount of crisp on the toast.
