Chocolate Chip Cookies
Made with Yogurt
2½ cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon salt ¾ cup butter ¼ cup Greek yogurt ¾ cup brown sugar ¾ cup sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups chocolate chips
Cream butter, brown sugar, sugar and yogurt with a stand or hand mixer. Mix for 2 minutes
Eggs and Vanilla
Add in the eggs and the vanilla extract. Mix on medium for about 1 minute.
Whisk the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl. Pour into the dough and mix until fully incorporated.
We use a combination of semi sweet and milk chocolate, but use your favorite! Mix in with a spoon or spatula.
Scoop the Dough
I prefer to use a cookie scoop to get an even amount of cookie dough each time, but you can use a spoon.
Place the cookie dough about 2-3 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-11 minutes, until they just start to get golden brown.
Allow to sit on the baking tray for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
They can be eaten warm but cool all the way before storing.
