The Best Cheesy Garlic Biscuits

These biscuits are easy to make and can be done in about 20 minutes from start to finish!

Ingredients 2 cups flour 3 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon garlic powder 5 Tablespoons butter 1 cup shredded cheese 2/3 cup milk Topping 1 Tablespoon butter  ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

In a mixing bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt and garlic powder

Cut butter into chunks.  Use a dough blender to cut the butter into the flour mix until only some small pea sized pieces of butter are left.

Pour in the shredded cheese and mix until it is mixed through.

Pour in the milk and stir with a fork until it just comes together.  If there is flour that won't stir in, add more milk a tablespoon at a time.

Use a spoon to scoop dough out into 12 even pieces.  Place them onto a baking sheet.

Mix together melted butter and garlic for topping.  Brush over each biscuit.

Bake in preheated oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 7-10 minutes.  They will be a golden color and have some browning on the tops.

Optional - garnish with parsley immediately after baking.

Enjoy!
