The Best Grilled Burgers

Delicious and easy

What You Need

80% or 85% ground beef DRY RUB Dried minced onion Parsley Garlic powder Salt Smoked paprika Pepper

Shaping

Take about 1/3 of a pound of beef and shape into a round and thick patty.  Slightly push down on the inside to make an indent in the middle. Repeat. Sprinkle the dry rub over the burgers.

Grilling

Heat the grill to 450-500 degrees. Place burgers onto the grill and close the lid. Do not press the burgers down.

Cook times

Cook for the same time each side - time is estimated, check temperature. Rare - 3 minutes Medium rare - 4 minutes Medium - 5 minutes Medium well - 6 minutes Well done - 7 minutes.

Temperatures

Always check the temperature, times can vary. Rare - 120 Medium rare - 130 Medium - 140 Medium well - 150 Well done - 160 *USDA recommends cooking to 160 degrees

Adding Cheese

Once they reach temperature, flip one last time and add the cheese to the top. Close the lid and cook for about 1 minute - long enough for the cheese to fully melt.
